I saw you on MSNBC today and with great relief that “white Christian nationalism” is seen as a real threat.
I have added “white” to the phrase “Christian nationalism” for over 35 years. Many normal Christian’s are annoyed by that
“white Christian nationalism” is mainstream on the basis that “white nationalism” is fringe white supremacy without religion whose adherents want race war and all non whites driven fro the nation’s borders.
To me “Christian nationalism” is simply the belief that America as a nation was founded by Christian’s for Christians under a Covenant with the God of the Bible going back to the landing of the Mayflower on North American soil. that is a lie, but this line has become a great ATM machine for all those that tell it.
I have been writing about the threat of white Christian nationalism for years. I have always added the term “white” in front of Christian nationalism. White Christian nationalism is the mainstream version of extremist white nationalism with about 40 million Republican voters. The danger is I hear talk on American family radio that they think they can get that up to 60 million for future elections. The Oligarcgs are for sure pushing that goal.
Both mainstream and extreme white nationalists are elated that the white Christian nationalist House Speaker Mike Johnson became second in line to the presidency.
The threat is real So thank you for confronting it Your work is excellent and I will promote it everywhere that I can.
